If there's one thing that everyone in Logan Square can agree on, it's that Palmer Square Park is a great space. We want to work towards making it even better.
Wide roads and dangerous crossings make a beautiful park harder to use for children, families, and seniors. Palmer Square Park, once a bicycle racetrack retrofitted into a community green space, is surrounded on all sides by wide, fast-moving roads. The only way to get to the park is to cross two, three, or even four lanes of traffic. For years, neighbors have been asking for something to be done to make the park more accessible. We agree that change is not only warranted, but necessary. There are many ways this could be done, and we want to hear from you.
